Blue and Bright - a Write for Sunday Muse

"Frozen" by Riamali

    Blue Eyes

Blue eyes and blonde
that's what I used to be
Envy of all
'swat they wanted to be
Envious girls

Crooned at my feet
wanting to be like me
Couldn't happen
no way they'd be like me
I's born like this

I am a boy
could it be I'm a freak
Other boys tease
teasing they make me blush
Bright apple red

Sat by the curb
others admired my looks
Muscles I have
Fast and proud born this way
I purr for them

And when they swoon
there is no way I'll cry
I am so proud
top down they make me roar
I'm a Mustang

I've had this car since I retired in 2001.  It is my retirement present
from me to myself.  A 1998 Ford Mustang GT Convertible,

Recipe for Planning a Travel Holiday - a Tasty Write for Friday Writings

        A Travel Holiday, i.e. Vacation

The rich combination of chocolate and almond plus
having it in a wrapped bar makes any travel finer.
I have traveled to all 50 of the United States and
have visited 82 or more countries I'm showing here
The hope here for you is that you enjoy the travel
as much or more than I have.
                                _ _ _ _

Back to our recipe, before we even start making
our delightful trip full of relaxation, learning, and
enjoyment there are a few items to get straight.

Decisions:
A Destination -- do your homework here use
google to help you, and for other items
Mode(s) of travel -- this in part will depend on
where you are going, your physical condition,
and the amount of money in your purse/wallet
A Budget for expected costs -- google helps you
Who all is going -- a travel alone for a single is
more costly, although not exactly "two can go
        for the price of one"
Time -- How much time can you take? (I had
six weeks each summer and I taught six weeks
        for spare money to use)
Miscellaneous -- you may come up with other
decisions you need to make, these above all work
        together
                                _ _ _ _

Ingredients for the plan:
3 pounds of dollar bills (more if you have or need)
2 tablespoons of cooperation with spouses, etc
1 can of dark, sweet and pitted time
1/2 tablespoon of salt and perspiration
2 cups of sleep every night
    1 blank notebook
3 days of inspecting, lubricating, and repairs if driving
An ample amount of spare time

To Start
In a chilled bowl  in room temperature mix dollar                         bills, the cooperation, and 1/3 cup of time and beat
until tempers are very stiff.  Refrigerate as needed
    to cool off

Begin using the notebook so as not make the same
mistakes twice.  Take note of tricks you use to keep
the other's cool as and if this applies to your help

To assemble your trip plans, add the other ingredients
and hope for the best.  Pour them out onto a greased
and slightly rusted pan and bake regularly until it is
    departure time.

Bon Voyage and Good Luck, Enjoy!!

The Gift -- a Write for dVerse Poetics

Two of my toys, Tractor was Dad's untill he died,
Pig was to me from our Vet when I was a small boy

        My Gift, A Pig

'Twas vaccination on the farm that day
Vaccinate the pigs against diseases
Those diseases that pigs might get

In my farm boy time it was cholera
for sure that and some others I know not
Dad did a lot--vaccinate no

Doctor Scott did that for us while we helped
Dad or I would hold the pig to the ground
Doctor Scott injected the meds

I'd known Doctor Scott most of my five years
He was the "The Vet" I have known all my life
That day he had me a present

It was heavy, heavier than a dish
about four inches long and never broke
Brown relaxing on its knees

We were poor I didn't have many toys
Honored place on my shelf is well deserved
Had you pig now for my long years

Doctor Scott, I thank you this one more time
Now you doctor for angels' pets

Stars, out tonight? -- a Poem for dVerse Quadrille Poem

Dubrovnik, Croatia, Two Bell Church
       Copyright,  Jimmiehov 2016
Bells Will Tell

One bell if the stars are out
Two bells and we'll call them back
Will they come--one never knows

One bell--sailors can come in
There will be dancing galore
Two bells keep your fingers crossed

No bells--lamplighter's asleep
Street-dancing canceled tonight
