A Flash Poem for Thursday
Anguish prevailed
Thicken(ing) smoke
Rain began
Softly falling
People cheered
Fire extinguished
Smoke congealed
Harder rain
Flushed countryside
Sunshine appeared
Tender warmness
Soothing harassed
