Sorrow or Surprise Day
Today was sorrow or surprise day for Jakey.
That was what the horoscope said it might be.
Poor Jakey, he didn't know what to do.
How do you conjure up a surprise?
Or how does one avoid his sorrow?
His hands were of no use to him,
neither was his mind.
His destiny was in the stars.
The decision was not his to make,
it would be come what may.
If only he could get up, stand,
and then run away from it all.
But that would not be happening for a bit.
His mother, mother nature, would see to that.
Jakey is a six months old little boy.

Jakey here is only six months old. But this happens to many. The babies in the process of growing of course. For some children it is temporary. Others, in various stages of life, from birth through death, suffer defects or trauma. That might come from birth, accident, abuse, war, disease and sickness, stroke, aging, or other.
I could not write about the latter, just think about them. I could not emphasize enough to write. At least not now. So I chose Jakey. For him there is exuberant hope and expectation.
