One Single Impression: Curtains
.
Curtains, doing;
doing what curtains do
doing what curtains do
Rustling gently by the oscillating fan
on a bright warm and sultry day,
the curtains were sheer. They and
their soft little buttons with sealed lips
were to see things and hear the
thoughts, sweaty secrets which their
maker meant for them to keep.
All goings on within stayed private,
yet the world outside was opened
to those playing within. That
worked fine in the day. But when
came the dark, it was keep the
lights off. Otherwise the sheers
showed things privy on the inside
to those on the out. The little buttons
smiled, their lips were tightly shut.
