Art Interpretation - Surrealistic Art -- Farmer Lady

   Farmer Lady

O farmer lady
 I love your Roses
Your crop has begun
 we can harvest now
One for me
 one for you
  be plenty more
In your hair today
 your bib tomorrow
Empty my lapel
 cries please one of yours

O farmer lady
 please step near to me
I'll read your face folks
 call you bubble head
Can't get through to you
 I feel they don't try
We'll do fine I know
  breathe your breath on me

Warm and hot to feel
 caries your desires
Be they known to me
 do my best to help
Help like none before
 fill every desire

Storm clouds gathering
 signals must go in
Coffee keeps awake
 a chance we can talk
My help's not for sale
 still I'd like a rose

Writing - Books, Author Tutors, My Life

"Liberating and emboldening the beginning writer are the goals of Ted Kooser and Steve Cox in this spirited book of practical wisdom ..." Ted Kooser.net

 Your Readers

Write for your readers
 I was admonished
That's a lesson learned
  from friend Ted Kooser

"The Poetry Home
   Repair Manual,"
Used book on my shelf
  An internet find

A beginner's book
 Rhyme and meter start
What stuck in my gut,
 "Write for your readers."

A 'feel' to be learned
 Feedback gotten tells

 - Rosemary today has asked us to write something inspired by a favorite book or books for Friday Writings #30: Beloved Books

 - I reached "Prose Poetry" but didn't finish that chapter.  And so now I feel insufficient in attempting those.  And I have misplaced the book.

 - My next endeavor may be learning to play the guitar "for my readers".
