Moon, Stars, World ~~ a Sunday Micro-poem Challenge

Moonlight Escapade

We strolled along the walkway, Dog and I
Full moon blooming, shining bright stars smiled down
I gave my bloody howl, Dog howled as well

I was howling, tribute bright yellow moon
Dog howling at me, new experience
Watch our fangs, see them grow, the Dog's and mine

The better to bite you with my dear miss
Drops of blood I'll draw, Dog will have no part
The stars?  They cried out to bloody Heaven

I'm linked with Kerry O'Conner at the Imaginary Garden with Real Toads, And the Moon ~~ Micro Poetry (  http://withrealtoads.blogspot.com/2017/02/and-moon-micro-poetry.html )

Kerry stated, "The object of this challenge is to write a poem in no more than 10 lines" with the frame of reference to be "And the Moon and the Stars and the World."

The Pictures are of our "Moon Jar" as we call it, officially named by the Artist as "Earth Rise".  We bought this jar from the artist and creator, Helen Garriott, then wife of astronaut Owen Garriott, at her Kemah, Texas, studio. (Working as an aerospace engineer, I had the honor of giving Dr. Garriott his first Skylab simulation experience, a hands on orienttion tour of our Mockup Skylab module.)

The 'knob' on the lid is Earth as seen from the Moon, below.  The jar is about 7 1/2 inches high, and 6 1/2 inches in diameter.  See the pictures for detail of the footprints and for the literature [click it twice to make it large enough to read] enclosed inside our jar.  We also have a "Sun Jar" which sits on our coffee table.
