Dilema? - a Tanka for Friday Muse

by Hein Rich

Oh Yes

Fly away or stay
Like little bird in Fate's hands
Solved--cook it for lunch
World goes around and around
With hands give thanks for our food

Sleeping Poor - a Poem for the Friday Writings

    My Bleeding Heart

Mention not my bleeding heart
Tales peoples of crass desires
Tired of hearing my lament
Their cold hearts seldom do bleed

Tender hearted that I am
Would they rather be hearing
What woes of life's given me
Which I'd never ever tell

Life's hidden, my restless sleep
Tear spots on my pillowcase
The blood on my clean white sheets
There tells the story I won't

Life has left me bleeding heart
Losses, love, animals, friends
