An old dog Poem for a One Word Prompt, "Muddy"
The little blind dog
Back yard do her thing
When time to come in
Toto wasn't there
Called and called some more
Toto didn't come
Was no dog in sight
The kids were so sad
Crying half the night
Light left on for her
though she could not see
Old, blind, bit crippled
A call three days gone
"Toto's in my barn
She's a muddy mess
Three dogs brought her in"

- This is a true story, she was a pathetic soul but never before was she lost. I don't know who was happiest, us or her. But we were all so very thankful for her newfound friends.
