 - Marian wrote of her fund raising effort (read more from the link above AND the one in this paragraph) using 30 theme words to write a new poem each day of this month.   Her charity is the Center for New Americans, a nonprofit organization where she lives in western Massachusetts.  Her family is helping with this effort as well.  Besides writing their poem, the fund raisers are making one artistic drawing (and/or paintings??) a day to match the poem and that day's theme.

My little poem form is called a shadorma which is not necessarily rhyming but is required to fit the six line syllable lengths of  '3/5/3/3/7/5' each. (Writer's Digest linkIt would fit  her word list with using here the words "Rain" and/or "Love/Friendship".

Words Count, a 60 word Poem

Untitled (it could be the book of words)

I went to the store, up hill and down
On my way I met a small cherub
Dressed in his gown, he had run away
From the cherubim.  He thought, real cool
But now he was lost.  His momacry

Lunch, book of words.  Serendipity
At the store a chocolate ice cream cone

End note:  Cupid, our lad soon succumbs

 - Mom Z wants us to use three of the following words listed, I used the three asterisked, well four as my "mimicry" is stretched a little.  Teacher-wise, she would "give" (really award) us ten extra points if we titled our poem "book of words".  I used these words in the body of my "poem" and noted that it would qualify for the name.  Count the title it completes the 60 words M.Z. required.

 - What do these words have in common?
mimicry*
testament
rapture
cool*
dachshund
cherubim*
heretic
infinitesimal
convenient
serendipity*
