-- (He) Her memory surely slipped, it's "Early Onset Dementia," commonly called a "Memory Fog". And my stomach is "Billy's Belly Deli O"
-- (She) that's us anyway, like he say / our REAL PROBLEM is
WE NEED TO COME LIVE WITH YOU !!!

 - Our NaPoWriMo Day One leader choice for Monday, "optional prompt (for Monday)! I got this one from a workshop I did last year with Beatrix Gates, and I’ve found it really helpful. The prompt is based on Robert Hass’s remarkable prose poem, “A Story About the Body.” The idea is to write your own prose poem that, whatever title you choose to give it, is a story about the body. The poem should contain an encounter between two people, some spoken language, and at least one crisp visual image.

Happy writing!"

Good News poem (not so good)

        Coney Island NYC, USA

Dearest Dad

Well, Dad, back in the USA
New York city to be exact
Not quite exact, I'm on the beach

There's big crowds that come every day
Someone will take me home real soon
Here's to beat the bum last  time was

That was a real bummer (new pun)
Like running with a pack of dogs
They picked a leader, off we went

But Son's okay here, please tell Mom
When I get a home, see me then
Lets hope it's soon.

I love you Dad
