Down in the Valley
Way down in the valley
there was a little man
who had a little wife
'tween the two quite a pair
When they'd leave their valley
took two to climb the hill
red wagon he woul pull
she'd give it little shoves
Was over and over
and again and again
him tugging she would push
each day went up to town
They brought the wagon back
filled, food and needed stuff
they'd hop in, riding down
Over, over, again
Then one day the man fell
Oh Dear, my dear, help help
Help came helped the man up
into the wagon then
What's there now I can do
Help called the dogs, they came
Help hitched the three strongest
the wagon they would pull
Curious Villagers
running over they came
looked and saw little man
Hospital -- broken hip
Surgery fixed him up
sold house in the valley
moved to town, bigger house
came dogs and animals
Happy ever after
last time over again
