Lover Advice - a Word Acrostic

                        QUAILING; lover heal thyself

Quail from your downward darting kiss
from making an ars of yourself
                        your unwarranted rage does tell

                        downward ever downward you fall
                        darting where mosquitos dast not
                        kiss and make up, apologize

One of the few good things about summer's end... the end to mosquitoes... and yes sometimes we have to apologize.

Very cool the way you started with the complete phrase, then also worked it in descending. Wonderful write.

I like the way you’ve included both the vertical and horizontal in your imperative poem Jim! I would most definitely ‘kiss and make up, apologize’, without argument. 😊

What a clever interesting response to the prompt line! Love the "telling off" nature of it. Well done!

clever twist using the first line, a failed apology is akin to a nasty mosquito bite!
