A Ditty Poem for Wednesday

What goes up must come  down

The skeletons in your closet
They are to be worried about
Those things will come out in the wash

What to do what to do--there's hope
Why were they in the wash machine
Who was watching this bloody act

Did you heed Tide cleans things better
There's hope those dry bones get whiter

HA -- at first I read your title as "dirty poem" and it seemed to fit as it was about laundry!

Jim, the skeleton stanza holds a mixture of hope and threat for me, depending who the speaker is and the sort of skeletons in the closet.

This is absolutely brilliant!💝 I especially like; "The skeletons in your closet/They are to be worried about
/Those things will come out in the wash." So true.

Oh, not sure all skeletons can be bleached clean of their secrets, but we can hope. :)

I have this image of bones tumbling around in a washing machine. Clatter, clatter, clatter!
