A Poem - 55-Word Flash and Word List

Scammer Remorse

Underworld profits beckoning
Colonnade pillared mansion needs
Seethe as the suckers surely will
Crescent moon shines over us both

Faint and fainter it's image grows
Sunshine day after tomorrow
East still the brightening  suns will rise
Brooding no longer they will be

Foolish people come every day
Silver lines their pockets for me

Ooh – too true, I fear. And yes, they don't care, the criminals, about those they fleece.

I’ve never heard of scammers being remorseful, they just take advantage of foolish people, and think they have it coming to them.

I feel like stealing the phrase "colonnade pillared mansion needs" -- that is such a perfect piece of sarcastic summary I'm still marveling at it.

No end to the foolish people scammers ply. This makes me miss all those Flash 55's!

One must wonder about the sort of scammer who feels guilty about swindling people. I mean, why did they do the the thing in the first place?

My iPhone is helping my scammer's remorse by labeling incoming robocalls "Potential Spam" so I can disconnect immediately. Great use of the word list, by the way.

The underworld profits, the mansions, and little remorse from those profiting.........an interesting response to the word list, Jim.

Sadly humans are rather strange in the dealngs with their own species as cheating, robbing, fighting wars and demeaning others as they have a different color or language whilst being substantially the same is obnoxious but we have been this way for thousands of years. I think we are a failed race!

What a creative write from a word list. I wish the scammers would cease, but everyday there are more of them.

You've admirably used the word list. Your poem is spot-on with depicting scammers and victims to fall for them.
