Grocery Store Search for Blue -- MidWeek Blues -- May I help you please?
I like blues, I like trucks, I like Merlot
Looking for blue truck wine gives me the blues
On bottles I find pink trucks and white trucks
Wonder why there aren't any blue trucks though
Barefoot Merlot and Barefoot Chardonnay
Each an excellent California wine
Just one thing wrong, neither kind is a truck
Comes in blue labeled bottle, what the hey
Cheaper by the Dozen is a nice play
My friend's dog, Harley, has a leading role
These small bottles seem to be fun to drink
Comes in blue box, Merlot or Chardonnay
Here's a little switch, blue bottle, blue wine
It's not the real thing, no truck to be seen
Worse yet, it's 'Flavored Apple Wine Product'
No way for me, ain't going to be mine

Fun series of blue photos and poetry this morning! I've never seen the blue labels and seals on the Barefoot Merlot and Chardonnay bottles before, but then I don't spend much time walking the wine aisle at markets either. Since I'm constantly a 'barefoot' gal, you'd think I'd be familiar with this brand.
Thanks for dropping by Small Reflections once again this morning. I'm glad you enjoyed my 'blues' there (in addition to my yellows and reds for Monday and Tuesday). Multi-tasking has become a specialty of mine it seems!

OK that was fun! And you can buy wine in the grocery store???!!! Lucky you. We have to go to the "State Stores" for our wines. Although I can't drink it...it brings on migraines, but my husband does.
Good luck finding that blue truck and the drink of your choice. "Wine flavored apple product?" Couldn't touch it.

I have a fear you have to look a long time for those winebottles.. I'm partial to the bicycle wine (red or wine)
I like Merlot any label! :) Needless to say, those you mention are unknown in Australia. Obviously they are just made for poets!
This made me smile. Someone invent a blue truck label and slap it on some Chardonnay!

Maybe you can create your own label and paste that baby over your fav bottle. : ) Then no more blues.
