Golf course pictures were taken from our back porch

Monday morning with frost on the golf course. Temps got down to 26, the lowest of the year (2007, this year also) so far.

My Haiku/Senryū

frost on the golf course
means a frost delay for sure
we'll tee off at ten

Saturday morning after a nighttime storm with a couple of inches of rain.

morning after rain
good earth extra bright and green
golf starts at seven

Sunday morning, not a cloud in the sky!

To read and see Jim and his Mustang's guided picture tour of Cut and Shoot, Texas, click here. The 1998 Mustang GT convertible has 88,000 miles of which 39,000 Jim put on since he got it used in 2001. It was Jim's retirement present from himself.

Yes, it still will go over 150 mph but he doesn't take it over 120 now because of the silent killer, metal fatigue is likely to be present. (We used to magniflux our stock car racing cars after race for metal fatigue.)

Château Vaudreuil, near Montreal, Qc, Canada, is not a club where membership can be obtained. Rather it is a wonderful resort where Mrs. Jim and I stayed for three nights last week. They do many weddings and do sell hospitality packages. Château-Vaudreuil. com
