That is a lot of snow... but it does happen
When I lived in Ireland I was snowed in one year, with snow up to the roof and icicles inside the house. A local farmer had to come and dig us out. I can believe that snow would be the easy way out of a locked lodge, but you’d have to get out before it reached the roof! I love the phrase ‘snowman packed’.
That's a lot of snow. It's good she got out.
