Spells and spellng - a Write for dVerse Quadrille

Spell of good fortune
Cast upon my dame
Lasted a long spell
When it was over
Riches and good looks

Upon her fell spell
others she loved
Our loving spell doomed

Onery spell moral is
'Riches, good looks
Those two spell trouble'
""T"  "R"  . . . "

 - Our "Quadrilles" have exactly forty-four words, and are considered "Flash Writing" due to their shortness.
 - For us we are given ONE WORD which we must use, today Sanaa has given us "Spell".  This word has three meanings, making it a "homogram" with three homographs.
 - My writing is also a Flash Poem in many circles based on syllable count, I have 56 syllables, twenty-five in each line of the first five, then fourteen in the second and seventeen in the last.   Most times I like either 55 or 144 as those two are magic for either syllables or words, as is 44.

An interesting poem. Sounds like the spell lasted about as long as the honeymoon!

Love the way you spelled it out Jim, the twin elements that spelt trouble!
