Poem, Sunday Muse # 123, Kansas
Kansas in the Morning
When I woke up this morning
Smile on my face there you sat
Coffee eggs and toast with jam
You were smiling too so bright
Sweet smile one I won't forget
Kine'a made me want to stay
Now I'm driving down the road
Sun in my eyes flowers shine
But you I'm thinking of still
Left my picture number too

Love the correlational of smiles, sun and the flowers. A delightful read. Have a great weekend Jim!
Ms. Jim must appreciate these love/ly poems .......
Ah, this made me smile....the eggs and toast, the driving in the sun, but still thinking of her...........loved this.
Great take Jim! Makes one feel young in the throes of a loving relationship being hopeful and wisely nurtured!
Hank
What a lucky man to be sent off with a full tummy and a full heart! Cherish those days.
It sounds like you have found the sun that makes your face shine.
I can hear the music under this--full of sunshine & guitar. :)
Gotta love Kansas in the morning! Now I'm hungry again, can we stop at the Stuckey's?
Love makes the sky bluer, the flowers more majestic, and life more full of sun.
Such a happy poem, Jim.
