A Poem -- Time to Play
Hello
I'm here to learn
To learn to play like the masters
I'm to play the classics,
Mama likes Chopin
When I have my recital
A little statue I'll get
Like my softball one
Sorta
We'll put it on the shelf
Maybe I'll play good as my cousin
She can play "Bill Grogan's Goat"

This made me smile, Jim. Love the message it holds as well. We are all here to learn indeed.
Nice one Jim. It made me smile, too. And may we never not want to learn more.
Not familiar with Bill Grogan's Goat. I think I'd like to hear it -- when you aren't playing Chopin of course!
Reminds me of my first lessons, thinking it would be easy, and it wasn't quite so. I got the participation trophy in softball. I stuck with the piano.
Ha, this made me smile, Jim. When i was a kid, i longed to play piano.
Nice!
Love this take on the image--did the piano take or the softball? Or something completely different?
You got a giggle from me! I play the flute, though I always wanted to learn the piano.
I'm smiling! Oh, to play the piano as well as i play sports! Fun.
Music is a wonderful thing to learn. I wish I knew how play the piano.

After reading your comments on my blog, I realize we share a bit of background. Married twice, several serious loves, the best memories of each man. And still the best of friends/co-parent with #1.
It's a mixed up world. Don't forget our likes, travel, etc.

...to play like the Masters - oh, to a Mom's ears I'm sure you did :)
So cute! I took a couple of years of piano as a kid. My last recital was a song about a horse because at that age, that's what I was in love with.
