NaPoWriMo 2017, Day 18 -- a Poem,
Four hungry horses
Four hungry horses met at the corner
Deciding on today's course of action
Having a quorum wasn't problem
Of the seven only their vote counted
They had to decide, jump the creek or stay
The grass here was short, eaten to it's roots
Trouble was that the four could not agree
The smaller two with equal votes said 'Stay'
They feared their short legs might not jump the creek
We'll give you a nudge, get you over there
And first choice at the greenest grass going
Our vote would change, add Scotland, first class air
Horse Proverb says "Grass is greener on the
other
side." This in mind they agreed, "Go"

In Canada, we gone through 3 different referendums, whether or not, Quebec should separate from Canada. Each time, they voted to stay, in Canada. Personally, let them go, it's cheaper, in the long run. As for Great Britain, that whole other kettle of fish, to fry. Wish them, best of luck.
Oh I love this!! Beautifully done, Jim
Oh I love it, too. Go, go!
Ha. very fun. I would go if scotland were added in! My legs not so short though! Thanks, Jim, for the smile. k.
Here in Texas we have to deal with red right. I swear each day I can't believe what they waste money and breath on.
charming, JIm ~
It sure looks greener in the picture!
Thank goodness for a good proverb (and wise horses willing to read into them... and jump!).
