Plants -- a Poem for dVerse Poetics
Texas Bluebonnets growing wild in the fields
the weed
weeds are popular
wildflowers pretty
we love and adore
city folk trample
trample or they pick
farmer's bane always
being tamed and trimmed
hardy plants still live
won't become extinct
I picked this clump of clovers beside the sidewalk
leading to downtown Killarney, Ireland.

Love this and so-called weeds are beautiful too <3
Nice writing Jim. Have a good holiday and see you next year.
They look pretty to me. Happy Holidays to you!
Some of our most beloved flowers are sometimes seen as weed
