Friday Writings -- Secrets we keep (or share)

That's the story 

Story of many a man's life, 

mine as well   

Mine perhaps a couple of times 

real big, with several 

others in between 

and now and then 

Be it known 

I don't ever 

and wouldn't ever 

"Kiss and Tell"  

Secrets? 

Perhaps, 

some things I'll never tell 

Only me and probably God 

and each 

one other will know for sure  

Still, others may know 

a bit or bits 

Well, at least not much, 

for sure not nitty gritty details 

But rumors often fly 

based on so little truth

or none, making up

All them 

I remember well 

every one 

Ask?

 

It won't be me that tells 

Unless it's not a secret 

and no one has 

asked before 

I have spoken before of the girls in my life and written in blog posting a little of the some with hopes of more to come.  There's been nothing new but if completed it could be basis for one of the memoirs I would like to write.

  - At the link above Rosemary gave hints of types of Secrets she has come up with.  It is a very good list, well worth reading. 

 - Photos?  Both uppers are of Mrs. Jim and me away from home.  Top was taken by a "friendly stranger", a drunk guy on the beach at Cayman Island.  The lower we'd been walking and now were aboard the Princess Cruise ship at Aukland for a cruise around New Zealand, down to the south and over to Tasmania, ending up at Sydney, Australia.  The bottom photo was from the "Mother Goose and Grimm" January 12, 2022.  Grimmy is sitting in the corner being punished with his back to us, talking with the Cat.
