We cratered - Heroic couplet form
.
We saw it coming, proverbial mile
Fate had dealt us dirty, sardonic smile
Why did you shed those tears, why did we cry

Excellent work on the form, Jim 💜
I really like this form. The sadness of a relationship gone is so vivid here.
Love what you did on the form... the picture says it all of such a failing relationship
Well done. Enjoyed your heroic couplet. And as well the sad romantic tale told
much love...
We had some good times, but they didn't last
You can text, I'll reply, we're in the past
The end can be most sad Dr Jim, even frustrating with lots of regret (though with anger in some odd instances)
Hank
