Spring is coming -- Poem for Tuesday
Spring flowers are blooming
Trees are budding, some bloom
Pear trees are dressed in white
Cherry prefers her pink
Redbuds have no fruit, they're
pretty sight with the rest
Singing their cheery songs
Pushing winter to sea
(Redbud tree in neighbor's backyard)

I'm afraid the sea is going to push winter right back on me, as every news report seems to be upping the amount of snow we're supposed to get tomorrow. I'll keep images of spring close by to get me through it. Thanks Jim!

Spring is inevitable but our wishes satisfy us as we can do no more but wait, but still are joyful when it arrives. Great poem Jim.
I like how 'everyone's' dressed up for the welcoming of spring. A cheery poem....and much needed after this long cold spell.
"dressed in white" like that and "pushing winter to sea. Spring is just around the corner!
