Reminiscing ~~ A Valentine Poem for Mrs. J
The knees and hips
a Valentine ditty for my sweetheart
But it's so very wonderful
Reminiscing on times gone by
Times we once had but will repeat
no more. The intimate moments
I remember the most, but not all
Remember the first meal you cooked
Just for me, I was so happy
Baked potato with all trimmings
Followed by Vichyssoise, my first
You made me wait a whole six months
I love you still, more every day

Love the story of the beginning... the way to a man's heart always go by the stomach I have heard :-)
Awwwwwhhhhh! Your words to Arlene just add more reasons as to why you two are so easy to love! Congratulations for making the union God created a testimony to His love for us!❤
Oh, Jim, you are a sweetie with a sweetie-pie
Yes, I remember too that long wait of nearly a year between acceptance and getting to the altar!
Delicious poem (pun intended) – and many congratulations on the upcoming anniversary.
Happy Valentine's Day Jim and Mrs Jim!
There and then ready to marry,
You made me wait a whole six months
I love you still, more every day
How nice to reminisce over old times. It rekindles love and enhances deeper the lovely feelings. Makes one feel young again, Dr Jim!
Hank
Loved this last year when you posted this. So tender.
Pictures I've posted before.
The writing is fresh, new, for this post.
