Hidden ~~ a Poem for Friday
"...and the very folds of the curtains
contained secrets and sighs." -Anais Nin

Hidden
Something's hiding here
Hiding behind the curtain
Just a pIle of dust
Something hard to hide
Some sweep it under the rug
Hoping none will see
Or in the closet
Waiting for it to come out
Secret no one tells
Things always come out
Things that can't be hidden, it's
Now or later on

The truth will always come out - in its own time
Beautifully deep and wise 💞 Thank you so much for participating.
Oh, that's so true.
Oh, the hidden things... we guard them faithfully
Indeed. Nice write Jim. Happy you dropped by my blog
much love...
Indeed, Jim. Curtain don't last forever. Eventually, what is will show its face.
True words, Jim.
I always sweep under the rug :) Truer words never spoken, though.
In its own time, in its own way - truth will out!
The curtain is always ready to rise. Truth won't remain offstage forever.
There's always someone that hopes the truth won't out, but it will eventually.
We all have secrets I think... and maybe that's good.
