Hub Cap Reflections ... Looking At the Sky
I got this one because I liked the truck. I didn't have Sky Looking in mind then. So it doesn't show much sky. The vehicle is a 1950 Ford Pickup truck.
This one does show some sky. It is on my friend's 1951 Lincoln that was pulled along side me on a public street waiting for the light to change.
The picture on the left shows that we are really on the street. You can see my 1974 Green Mustang II Ghia in the hubcap, waiting beside it for the light to change.
The light did change. Now the '51 Lincoln is the fourth car up. I showed this one for you to see a SKY PICTURE. I didn't want to cheat too badly for this Sky Looking Day post.
An added goody, this road is closer than two miles away (south) of our home. We were on our way to another car club meeting at a member's home. He lives in our subdivision, less than a mile from me.

I like all of them Jim. They just don't make cars like that anymore. They were built to last back then.
Have a terrific day. Big hug. :)
Remind me on the old days .. when cars was made from steel ... and hub caps had chrome instead of plastic chrome.
These are beautiful, and I love old vehicles .. that's in good shape!
Ride on Jim!
I can see the reflection of the sky.
And that is one cool car!!!!
Hi Jim,
I like your angles on these first too!
I really like the tree reflection in the panel of the first one. The tree seems to curve with the car.
I'm still posting on 'that other' sky meme. :)
My post is here: Carletta’s Captures.
These photos make me think of my dad. I like old cars because of him!
I see the sky in the fender of the first pic! So you didn't cheat at all.
I also think I see YOU in the hubcap of the first pic....
???

I like that hot-rod Lincoln. And the chrome reflections in the wheel discs and the beautiful paint on the cars accents the reflective skies. I like the postwar Fords from 1949 up, they are well styled cruisers...
These kinds of cars make me stop in my tracks to oogle at them as they drive by. Great shots!
My sky post is here:

Hi, Jim,
Hub cap sky.
An artistic angle.
These cars hadn't lasted if not for love, lots of hours spent grooming and repairing.
There for I have a deep respect for veteran owners, be it boats or cars.
They pay as much attention to their vehicle's well being as we old ladies pay to our exterior.

Very cool shots, Jim! I love your creativity. :)
...and to respond to your comment, "Dr Jim", Miss Emily is not allergic to bows. Her daddy has already tried this strategy. *LOL* What is it with men and bows?! :)
Thanks for stopping by, and thanks for playing along. Have a great weekend!

These are very creative! And, I LOVE old step-side trucks!!!
Great shots!
Nifty photos ;--)
Let's hear it for great minds ... I did something similar with FLOWER reflections in a truck parked on the street in front of my house last Sunday then modified them with Photoshop Elements to produce COLORFUL possibilities at Small Reflections last Sunday.
Hugs and blessings,
I'm running a bit behind in visiting everyone but I'm glad that I'm getting around to it today. These pictures are great! I participated but I was late in doing so but at least I wasn't the last. Not that there is anything wrong with being last. :) If you'd like come on over and visit mine.
