I just love the old churches. I can smell the fried chicken now...
~~~Blessings~~~
This reminds me of churches up around where my grandparents lived in Northern Vermont.
Tabbikat's Thoughts
Yes Jim, I have pass by this church many times. I love little old churches, they reminds me of my days in the Mississippi Delta ... not necessarily happy times, but there were some joy in-between the pain. Thanks for the good thoughts.
This church has a bit of a look of many old churches on a New England green, painted white in wood and USA charm, styled not like the edifices in Europe. Simple style for worship - come as you are and feel comfortable at worship...
Very cool Jim. I like these shots very much.
Have a terrific day and weekend. Big hug. :)
I posted 3 churches from Brooklyn today :)
we are a holy pair now aren't we :)
this is a lovely church
I think the top shot is my favorite
I enjoyed these photos, Jim. I love small, old-fashioned country churches. Very welcoming.
Hi there Jim - that time of week again when we turn our gaze skyward! *waves across the Gulf at Jim* Pretty little church; I've often remarked to whomever would listen that the churches built during my youth, big brick affairs, are so VERY ugly by comparison. The ones that were already there when I was born - now THOSE are churches!
Happy Friday, dude -
Great pictures! I love how the sky blends in with the churches.
That looks like a nice little church. I really like the first photo - the white against the blue.
What a lovely old church! Your post appeals to me on MANY levels ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
