Looking At the Sky … Mistletoe in the Texas spring sky
Mistletoe
It's spring now in Texas
What will mistletoe do
when summer's heat comes on?
It hides--in green tree leaves.
I found these in another tree
for your to see up close.

Word for the day, REMEMBER.
Remember this spot for next
New Year's Eve.
Adi and I found the mistletoe while we were walking.
She would rather be looking for squirrels.

Now why am I surprised that there is mistletoe in Texas? Probably because I always think of it as a Christmas thing and for some reason associate Christmas with the cold!
Cool shots and quite the nice sky hiding behind the mistletoe!
Pushing the season, Jim? It's a long, long time till Christmas. ;-)
I thought mistletoe grew only in Florida. Hey! Blogging is a wonderful education.

Cool shots, and it's never to early to figure out where the mistletoe is. Poor Adi, please go find her some squirrels to kiss.
Your expansive Lone Star skies are great, bigger than Texas even! I did not even know where mistletoe grows. It coves from the Texas sised trees!
So, did Adi give you a doggie-kiss under the mistletoe?
Ya know I have never actually seen mistletoe in it's "natural" element. I remember that the my step father would shoot it out of trees when I was a kid, but I never went with him. Very nice shots. The one of Adi is too cute. Did she find any squirrels?!
Thanks so much for playing along!

the sky in the first shot is so pretty. my husband is from Kentucky, and mistletoe grows in the trees there too.
I love Adi! In that photo she looks like she's ignoring the world ;)
pretty trees
I love the blue of the sky in that first picture.
