Word List Easter Poem -- NaPoWriMo 2022 Day Sixteen

   One day in May

Passover had come late that year
It was Friday, her friend was killed
This third day was going to be
the saddest day in her short life
Sunday morning without breakfast
Moonlight, Mary trudged to his grave

Crazy guy, said he'd live through death
Slowly, with tears, tomb she approached
Really bad, twas vacant!  Empty!
Angel sitting near gave the news

"He has risen!!"

NOTE:  This is a modernized true poem according to Christian, of which I am, beliefs which we celebrate on Easter Sunday.   Jesus, Son of God come to earth in form of a man, died, was killed by Crucifixion but rose from his grave three days later.
In your Bible, Luke 24:6-7.

 - Poem Copyright, Jimmiehov 2022, All Rights Reserved
 - I am linked with NaPoWriMo 2022 Day Sixteen for form, the Curtal Sonnet, prompting suggestion,
 - I am also linked with Shay at the Sunday  Muse for her Garden Word List prompt with 20 word from which to choose,
. . . . .
 - Our NaPoWriMo 2022 prompt today is to write a Curtal Sonnet. It has eleven lines, instead of the usual fourteen, and the last line is shorter than the ten that precede it.
 - Shay's words for us, "our aim here is to use these words as a starting point for work of our own.  Please use at least 3 of the 20 words on the list in an original poem, then link, and visit others. Enjoy.
 Now, your list:
altered;  breakfast;  church;  dreary;  fetch;  garland;  grave;  harness;  humming;  laurel,  May;  moonlight;  rainy;  sheep;  shiver;  sloe;  slough;  stem;  vacant; and willows."
 - The five words I used are breakfast, grave, May, moonlight,  and vacant.
 - According to "Britannica" the Curtal Sonnet refers specifically to a sonnet of 11 lines rhyming abcabc dcbdc or abcabc dbcdc with the last line a tail, or half a line.
According to modern technics I did not use rhyme, but I did use eight syllable lines for Syllabic Form.
