One Single Impression: Exhibition
.
Exhibition
A fine young lady she was
until that fateful long day
she attracted attention
but it was in the wrong way
Her hat people said dreadful
they didn't like it no way
fastenator was up front
I'm afraid it's here to stay

Ah, fashion can be a minefield.
Show off can sometimes create problems!
that is so fun...and well said Jim!
Hi Jim,
So witty and fun. I enjoyed your take on the word this week. Thanks for your kind comments.
Oh my! That totally made me laugh- as those silly hats did at the wedding (mine was WAY more stylish and less attention-seeking than those- lol)! perfect for the prompt!
That hat is now raising money for charity on eBay. Even bad taste can be put to good use! Fun poem, Jim! The toilet seat and the octopus are proud of their child, though!
I remember having wondered seeing them there on TV...
Fun post ! and the hats are so much more fun-ny to watch :D
As always, I love your "fascinating" sense of humor!
Sandy, I love your description of the hat! Perfect! LOL!
Hi Jim. Love your playful take on the prompt. Those hats are outrageous and truly a stretch of the imagination!
Thanks so much for your visit and your kind words--you were right on in your interpretation.
