One Single Impression: Elusive

Impish Elusive Nothings
a wordless little poem

Words eluded me today
for that I will simply write
tomorrow or yesterday.

Meter here abandon care
a bit of nonsense today
without those words nothing's here.

Rhyme it surely I can do
missing words not a problem
I do this lark just for you.

Brilliant! The way you compose, so eloquently off the hat, and with your element of humor, is simply amazing.. Quite sincerely, I wish I was thus gifted!
Oh, and I just love the name for this poem, "Impish Elusive Nothings"... :)

Wow! This is a very wonderful poem, Dr Jim =)

It's my brother whose daughter has not met my father yet. It's a very delicate situation. I dare not probe too much into it. Thank you for your concern =)

Sometimes, we just have to write about what is happening (or not happeing!)at the moment. The words that come out are always a surprise and a gift.

I admire the word 'cheeky' which Tony wrote, but I also deem you clever, Master Jim.

Making fun of your muse are you? I just read Patois' haiku and your fun comment there! I had to come over and see what you wrote! You both made me smile!
