One Single Impression: Romance

.

The Evening Breeze

The evening breeze is blowing
with the moon brightly glowing.

Don't care where the fellows are
they're all so far—I'm with you.

We've got the juices flowing
pale moonlight, sets us glowing.

A little kiss seems so right
not out of sight thus you think.

We'll pucker up, close our eyes,
erase the moon from the skies.

Our touch and kiss then some more
right here before moon's bright light.

My want for you is growing,
the evening breeze still blowing.

Our moon, the breeze, you so fair;
ours in the air—is romance.

This moment seize just for us.
For us love may follow lust .

Suspended action
The world left on its edge, still.
Murmur in the clouds.

Jim, this must have been a special day. "Love will follow lust". Your words did a great job capturing the motion too. I really liked it.

Sometimes it does, Jim! I was reading in a book entitled Play (about the importance of play in our development) that this is actually the natural order of things.

I love this winsome, courtly love poem.

You captured the moment well Jim, and there's nothing wrong with a little lust, it's very romantic when you are with the one you love.

Romance, a little love spat
is good for the its health.

Glow-meter will check its pulse
to see if it needs more sun.

Only way to nourish
is through the man's stomach.

Jim, I really enjoyed reading your poem. It gave me a mixture of goose bumps and a blank feeling as I was reading.

It was mellifluous and sweet.

I like this: "Our touch and kiss then some more
right here before moon's bright light."
Perfect romance captured in the words.
