One Single Impression: Welcoming
A planned child she was
month early conceived
practice run made good
July's child we made
Expecting a boy
we named him Festus
loved him sight unseen
every day we cooed
Seven scheduled time
hospital to come
to meet him that day
impression we make
Festus came okay
our little he was
a cute little she
home for her we made
Three score years have passed
cycles do repeat
for him her and us
grandson now she makes
welcome world we say

Painting is easy when you don’t know how, but very difficult when you do. Edgar Dégas
The same goes for my poetry attempts (don't know how, but I enjoy it!).

A wee bit twee but welcoming.
The on-going cycles of life and happiness.
Great!
What a sweet story.
That is a lovely cycle to contemplate!
So sweet, and life keeps going round.
The circle of new life (or spiral as I like to envision it) of life. Very sweet.
What a cute story!
Congratulations on all three! A grandchild! How wonderful!
