SkyWatch Friday (my eighteenth) -- Adi Can . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Show off our best Texas fall scenery
This is about as good as it will get around here. Pictures of both dogs and fall scenery. Yes, our pear trees will turn yellow before those leaves fall off but you saw them last year.
Now isn't that a pretty blue Texas Sky we see showing through the bushes?
We were walking home from the pro shop where Mrs. Jim left us when she went golfing. Neither dog was very photogenic on this day. Adi wasn't too keen on sharing the picture with Katrin. Katrin hadn't had enough practice getting pretty in the nature setting yet. She will have time to learn.
As you see below, at first Adi didn't want to have ANYTHING to do with a picture with Katrin.

Adi's just used to ruling the roost, and probably feels like Katrin hasn't learned the ropes yet. Either that or something's caught that Beagle nose of hers that nobody else can pick up on!
Mr. Tonka just had a birthday yesterday, so we had a big celebration over at my blog.
At least Katrin was cooperative. And the scenery was beautiful.
Your dogs must make some great companions for ya! Look at how cute they are. So you have pear trees. I have one in Washington. Do you give your pears away? I can't keep up with the fruit on my one tree some years...
I can see Adi has an attitude. ;-) Oh well, at least Katrin wanted her photo taken.
Happy Sky Watch
Cute dogs , but I ;ma sucker for a dog anyway. Pear trees, now we don't get those here as you know.
Nice cute doggies. Nice photo of the sky for SWF. Have a nice weekend.
Hi Jim - fortunately, you do have the right kind of comment form! It's my set up that's at fault, apparently my IE isn't always compatible with Firefox. Lovel you SWF. Of course, it was really more of a Dog Watch. The patch of blue is nice, but the dog's steal the show!
I can tell that your dogs are loved. They are beautiful and the sky is too.
Hi Jim,
I came back here to leave you an answer to a question you asked and I don't see my previous comment.
I think Adi and Katrin look very pleased to be out under the Texas sky.
I was only about a couple of hours away when I took my photos for Sky Watch, but I can go downtown in about ten minutes and cross the river and be out of state.
It IS blue! Cute dogs.
These are great shots! And love the story behind them!
Aw Wonderful dogs.I love your photos they are amazing.
Happy SWF!
Hey - you have dog shots in your skywatch too! Great pictures - not so misty in TX, huh?
Better go check to see if those pear tree leaves are yellow due to an infestation of web worms. If so, do I have a deal for you.
Your dogs are precious. Any post with photos of dogs are my favorite.
Gotta love that Texas blue sky.
theHansMan asked me to write you an explanation of a previous encounter with web worms which followed your directions, so I did. It's posted at my place. In fact, someone over there has renamed you Mr. Dr. Jim...or something to that effect. Anyway, you might want to get over there and defend yourself. Hurry before the tree burns down.
Looks more like summer than fall to me!
Blue skies a cute dogs - it's all good.
Dogs have a mind of their own, don't they? I think your two are pretty cute and photogenic even without practicing.
Tht's a beautiful sky behind those pups, Jim!
