LOL nice one Jim. He does look exhausted.
Happy you dropped by my blog.
Much💖love
That’s a nice take on the image, Jim: it’s not the subject of the painting who is tired, but the artist himself! I chuckled at the thought of him painting the walls of the house.
Got a chuckle from me. He certainly does look world weary.
Ah....a different take on the prompt....writing from the perspective of the painter himself. Good one! And oh my....he "descends" to painting walls in the house. A frustrated artist? One who is not recognized for his work and moves from painting to posters to designs for textiles.....and ultimately to painting the walls of the house! Thanks for posting to the prompt! I enjoyed this one.
What an obsession to paint... you have to but cannot let go of the brush
Of course, Dr. Jim decided to go in a different direction, how very clever of you. I enjoyed my visit with your artist.
A unique and light-hearted take on the image. I especially like the pause with "Wall of the...." . Wondering where his brush would take him next!

I love how you interpreted this one Jim. Tired indeed!
Love it 😃
Poor guy has worn himself out only to be pushed aside like his painting
I'm imagining painting on commission would be very different than painting for fun. To turn a love into a job very well could become exhausting. Textured look at the image, Jim.
