Day 20, NaPoWriMo
Three random leafy spots;
three tiny poems
_ _ _
London leaves grey and hiding
Served the best
Earned their rest

_ _ _
Southern USA leaves still green
Working so hard
Green year around
_ _ _
My backyard Roses puny and yellow
They're underfed
But watered to much

I like these varied perspectives.
Yes, I like the different perspectives. My green thumb isn't so green. I have a garden handicap.
These are lovely, Jim!❤️
I really like the different perspectives as well!
I'm with Rosemary, I like these view, especially the first one. I never thought about fallen leaves as having done their green duty and needing to rest. But the poem is right, after dancing with time and weather over and over... everyone (and everything) needs some rest.
Lovely examinations of regional nature. :)
I enjoyed your transatlantic trip around those random leafy spots, Jim! I feel sorry for your puny yellow roses, though.
A trip around nature! Like the London one.
