- Today we are writing Nonet form poems. According to our teacher, Marian, a Nonetheless should have nine lines, the first with nine sylabels, next eight, then seven, and so on. We could follow that starting with a one syllable line and work our way up to nine again.
- The Old Possum was a name Eliot assumed when he corresponded with his children and he adopted it again for this book.

Cleverly done!
I like how you managed the form here. There are always more and more poets to study and gain from.

Fun fun!!! I want to be in that school. And the book in your illustration is one of the very best!
How great to dive into poems like this...
This is beautifully put together Jim, I really loved it.
*sliding in after the bell has rung* Awesome poem, with practical cats, as well! You've got it all going on.
Not to mention our little garden of poets! :)
I love this, so many poets, so little time.
Nice. The nonets look like a pair of fans!
