Somewhere ~~ A Poem for Tuesday
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMNtiSvQWyg&feature=youtu.be
Over the rainbow I must go
It is there we have peace and love
There sons will come home in one piece
Mothers will need no tears for them
For there it is that true love stays
No partings the lovers suffer
True love remains, be truly true
There children will not be hungry
Food is plentiful, water flows
Free medicine, vaccinations
Government is friendly and true
No poisons, pollutions, or guns
People live as God intended _ _ _

That sounds pretty darn nice, Jim
Over the rainbow is too far! We need to have these things even in Kansas! (Dream on, Karin!) Thank you, Jim. A very heartfelt poem. k.
I think that we have more already- but it's sad that we to fight for every victory gained.
This is such an incredibly heartfelt write, Jim!
Yes, Jim.. we all long for the Utopian somewhere on Earth.
What a beautiful vision! If only we could find it on this side of the rainbow.
