Orangutan in the Rain -- a Flash poem, 55 words
Where o where can my friend be?
I left him under a bush
Bush so big, banana tree
Out in the rain's unpleasant
I do hope he's staying dry
Not much sense has he, poor boy
Now coming in out of rain
All hairs are wet, so is he
Fig leaf doesn't keep one dry

How delightful to see the companion photo of your dear dog. This was a lot of fun, Jim.
This is so sweet.. The little umbrella guy and your dog finding shadow works so well.
Ah, sweet--love your photo of your beagle! What serendipity! Very charming. k.
Thanks for the mutt myth buster! Now I know.
What a delightful song ... the tune where oh where has my little dog gone popped in my head (and is still there). Bastet
Aw, what a transformation! :) Love it.
Aw! Love how you matched up the two pictures.
Yes, I love seeing the companion image of your dog. Such a sweet piece..It made me smile.
Your poem voices the look in the orangutan's face. Now I wonder if it, too, is thinking about your dog. ;-)
