Dogwood, Iris, and Dogs ― Day 29 of NaPoWriMo 2015
Pink Dogwood Tree
Walking along the sidewalk
When we came upon "this tree"
O, oh, oh, raved another
Pink dogwood tree winding down
Blooming still 'til season's end
In full bloom earlier on
More pink than green this dogwood
Always, blooms til season ends
Blue Beagle Iris
Came upon this flower bed
Iris, blue, trace of purple
Likes afternoon shady spot
Just like my old beagle dog

Absolutely breath-taking... :D
Jim, great shot of your dog and a leaf i was unfamiliar with.
I love beagles~ I love the flowers! What is your hound's name?!
Oh I LOVE$ this, beautiful tree, beautiful irises and WONDERFUL happy smiling dog.
These are lovely!
Dogs and flowers can you ever go wrong.
I love that the flowers remind us of their namesake (not blue, of course)... I feel the nostalgia.
Oh sweet--and sweet pics too. Thanks, Jim. k .
What a joyful walk it must be:)
sweet, Jim ~
