I enjoy delving into the mind of creatures...nicely captured, Jim.
Love squirrels - such nice company in the garden..
I would love to see a squirrel on my back porch - no such luck in my part of the world. I'm more likely to find a hyrax.
I was given a squirrel tail by a former classmate when I was around ten-year old, Dr & Mrs Jim :)
That's absolutely adorable! :-)

Gentle. I've not thought of squirrels this way. But I will try to be more empathetic.
we have a lot of squirrels around my house Jim!! we use to regularly put out food and water for themm... a time came when they were not even scared to come close but soon a stray tabby learned there new eating place and started eating them up .. i saw him gulping down one leaving behind only a tail... since weve stopped keeping food for them... theyre still around and feed from tree nuts and all but not so many any more!! :(
What a cute little guy! Nice 55 Jim.
we have brown squirrels. my poodles don't share their space let alone their milk.
gracias
What a sweet moment you've captured.
A simple beauty of nature, so much joy in it
A kitty who shares her milk, what a lucky squirrel!
This put such a smile on my face. Thanks a bunch, Jim. ;-)
This is so cute...
Great picture and well worked words.
Thanks for visiting. I could not see your other sight but maybe later.
I am a collector. I use some pieces in art and some just for looking. I can't imagine not picking up an old piece of something when I see it. It's a bad habit I enjoy.
A sweet tale that I wanted to illustrate and read aloud to children!
such a light hearted and adorable write. i really enjoyed my visit to your blog!

Super sweet! k.
nice snapshot, Jim. i'd like to be at war with our squirrels over the birdfeeder, but they're so damn cute and attentive. hard to be annoyed with them. :)
Such a darling piece...
I was so enthralled with the black squirrels in Northern Michigan… Do squirrels really drink milk? ha…
