Three Crosses;
Missing Now

On a Texas hill
alongside Highway19

three crosses--three children died
casualties of drink and drive

Do people lay flowers? Or plant something?
Surely those would be allowed?
My hope is that one day the people who cause these lives to be taken, would be forced to spend an hour per day sitting by the spot where they robbed people of their lives. {ansd i do not mean comfortably in their car playing with their laptops or tablets but contemplating on their deed of destruction}.
Every day for one year and thereafter less frequently until the end of their own days.

Heartbreaking, Jim, and a good reminder to me. It's been a long, long time, but I used to drink and drive, and the horror of the possibilities lessens without reminders such as this. Thanks.

Trucking with bill, we see crosses everywhere, just like this. We always wonder about who, why and how.

I don't mind the crosses... they are much more a reminder than markers to drive safely.

Drinking and driving is like moving around with a live bomb.
A great awareness campaign is required. Society should avoid people who indulge in this like they avoid criminals.
