One Single Impression: Kite / Haiku Heights: True
.
True Kiting
.
Flying kites is joy
good therapy for parched souls
we're soaring above
.
Flying kites is hell
grounded or tangled in trees
tests our tongue's control

Two fun ones.

And a nicer bunch of bloggers you could not hope to meet!
Ah, the two sides of the kite. nice ones.
I like the two perspective of flying the kite ~ Nice share ~
I never was a very good kite flier. Your words tell me why!
Walking True
I like both haikus Jim. The second one brought a big smile on my face.
Hey Jim, thanks for the note and nice words. Funny that you 'recognized' my painting.
I have not given up mandala making just taking a break...again. I have such trouble with Wordpress and commenting that it discouraged me. But now you have inspired me to do one. lol

I've been on both sides of that spectrum :) Someday I think it would be fun to try kite photography.
Two different sides of a coin, well put here.
Life of kites well illustrated !!!
Don't you just love the sound of the wind popping, cracking and singing through a kite?
There are definitely two sides to the kite adventure! We must take the risk, though....
smart view...thanks Jim!
Reminds me of the Judy Collins song,
I've looked at life from both sides now. And still somehow--(after spitting out a few expletives, or some quiet rumination)--we untangle the string and run with it again.
Clever and amusing haiku!
