One Single Impression: Depression
.
Depression
.
This the worst of times
picking up cigarette butts
smokes on London streets
.
Free food line is help
beans and bread are plentiful
cuppa would be nice.
Sleeping in subways
hoping to stay warm all night
good times have ended

well done, excellent depiction
There are so many who are suffering from their personal depression. You've captured the economic plights of many here Jim.
Made me remember when I lived in NY.
Oh, bring on the kindness, bring on the warmth!
very depressing thoughts for our time
how awful that people can get that desperate. so sad.
enjoy your journey home Jim, see you at OSI on Sunday.
