I haven't played a board game that uses a hour glass in a while. : )
Couldn't locate hourglass in the picture.
Life too comes with time(hourglass)
and have choice to play 'games'. Isn't it?
I remember the board games that use the hourglass!! Handy indeed, for good time control!! Don't the chess players too use it, similar to how an hourglass works??

I enjoyed all of this Jim--seeing which games we have in common as you image caught me first and then enjoying your take on the prompt. It's fascinating to me how that hourglass represents a little time and a lot of time and all time simultaneously. Great post.
