Glad you came prety bird to eat
Glad you came to eat with me

Super enjoyed this! Breaking the nonet into mini-stanzas was inspired, and the repetition makes me think of the bird bobbing its head--glad, glad, glad.... I like, too, the limited vocabulary. It gives the poem a wonderful simplicity. :) Stephanie
I have a bird and he has a mirror, and he is quite infatuated with the bird on the other side. Enjoyed this Jim. Hope all is well with you and Mrs. Jim.
What a wonderful nonet!
I love "little winged acrobat". So perfect.
Yes, they like mirrors. Our driving car stays out in the driveway and I've seen them holding on the mirror top and looking down either looking for bugs or looking at self.
..
This is super cute, Jim!

I loved rhe two pieces I wrote for this prompt — you should come read them.,
I have seen a bird on my car gazing at itself in the mirror, pondering it's own reflection. Nice use of the form.
This form and your poem were made for each other .... I must try a nonet one day.
Lovely nonet Jim.
Oh, I love the sweet visitations of birds. Love this poem.
Eat eat!
Lovely.
So delicate!
