Super enjoyed this! Breaking the nonet into mini-stanzas was inspired, and the repetition makes me think of the bird bobbing its head--glad, glad, glad.... I like, too, the limited vocabulary. It gives the poem a wonderful simplicity. :) Stephanie
I have a bird and he has a mirror, and he is quite infatuated with the bird on the other side. Enjoyed this Jim. Hope all is well with you and Mrs. Jim.

I love "little winged acrobat". So perfect.
Yes, they like mirrors. Our driving car stays out in the driveway and I've seen them holding on the mirror top and looking down either looking for bugs or looking at self.

I loved rhe two pieces I wrote for this prompt — you should come read them.,
I have seen a bird on my car gazing at itself in the mirror, pondering it's own reflection. Nice use of the form.
