A 55 Word Flash Poem
The Seamstress
She's the seamstress
for our small town
She works so hard
during the day
Her seams are straight
with knots so tight
The sewing part
there's no complaints
Her work is fine
but stress she has
Her stress relief
the folks complain
A tavern hit
She has become
Her play at night
You go figure

Even the town seamstress should have a bit of fun now and then. Thanks for participating, Jim.
The seamstress deserves a break, Jim, particularly when she works so hard and has no complaints. She needs to kick up her heels a bit.
An excellent take on the seamstress, Jim! ❤️
This is cool and fun Jim, enjoyble read.
LOve this! With the way she looks- it should be easy solving that crime!
What a town seamstress...love it!
Ha.. she deserves to loose her hair in the night...
Fun one, Jim!
So that is why she looks bemused at losing her left foot, she was blind drunk last night! Glad you figured that out JIm.
Customer satisfaction is the hardest part of the job - dealing with the ones who complain. I understand the need to unwind with a beer or two :)
